Cape Coral can be reached by three bridges from the mainland. It offers a handful of golf courses located in the city, countless bars and diverse restaurants. For the kids (and young at heart) there is a water amusement park since 1992 and is home to Cape Coral a science museum for children. Two impressive Marina’s, the Cape Harbour and Tarpon Point that varies with the adjacent residential units, restaurants and shopping are created here and enjoy great popularity. Enjoy beautiful sunsets at the pier next to the yacht club.

Nature lovers will find something outside of Fort Myers Beach the “Matanzas Pass Wilderness Preserve”, the “Carl E. Johnson Park” and “Lovers Key State Recreation Area”. Lush vegetation on the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico or along the Caloosahatchee River great for kayaking. The subtropical climate makes this area a variety of exotic plants thrive, the inventor Thomas Alva Edison discovered in 1885.
